First Steps & Fees
Finding and arranging to see a therapist can be a daunting and confusing process. If you have any questions or would just like to have an informal no-obligation chat, please call or email me. If you then decide that you would like to come for an initial assessment session, we can then make you an appointment.
Our first session will give us a chance to get to know each other a little bit. We can talk about how you are feeling and what issues you feel you would want to work on. We can explore together what you would hope to get out of counselling and how I can help you work towards those goals. It would also give you the chance to see if I am someone you might feel comfortable talking to going forward.
If we then decide that further counselling would be beneficial then we would agree to a minimum of 6 further sessions. Then we would meet weekly and review our work regularly to check you are getting what you want from counselling.
Our work together might be short or long term, dependent on your needs and what is most useful.
My fees start at £50 for a 50 minute face to face session.
